This cat has a new life now that she is the only feline left in our home. Unfortunately she did not get along with the other cats. She and Meg would hiss whenever they laid eyes on each other and wouldn't even stay in the same room together.
Charlie was hell-bent on seeking out Tiger-Jane (TJ) and attacking her at every opportunity. We had to keep them separated at all times for TJ's well-being. The fur would literally fly if they ever went near each other and heaven help anyone who tried to separate them. Some of us still bear scars!
I'll admit, TJ lead a pretty miserable life. She was afraid most of the time and ill-tempered as a result.
I miss my other cats very much, but it is lovely to see this remaining kitty enjoying her life at last - even if most of it is spent snoozing.

On a side note, I made it to 100 blog posts! Wasn't sure I'd actually keep going with this for any length of time, but I'm really enjoying this little space so there will be many more posts to come.

I find blogging more than a little addictive. Congratulations on your 100.

Our current cats do (mostly) get on, but in previous years we have had the sad situation you describe. At least TJ will live her final years out in bliss.
