Joy

Over the past week, I've been sorting my massive photo collection. This has involved transferring photos from those old albums with the adhesive pages into the photo-safe variety.
I actually started this task a year ago but ditched it after 10 albums because the size of the job was a bit overwhelming.
Anyway, as of yesterday, I now have 24 completed albums.

Some detective work has been necessary because there were a huge number of gaps in the original albums. By which I mean that over the years I have removed photos to use for school projects, special occasions, when kids wanted a particular picture for some reason, etc.
Instead of putting them back where they belonged, I've had a very bad habit of throwing them in a box to deal with later. Big mistake. None of them are dated, so trying to work out where they fit in has been a challenge.

We have all had a good laugh over some of these old photos. The kids are appalled by some of the outfits I dressed them in, and I'm likewise horrified by my often dubious fashion choices.

The above photos stood out because of the looks of complete joy on my children's faces.

The photo below was in a box that I inherited from my late mum. I have no recollection of this being taken. I love it for little J's happy face.

Wow. That is/was a HUGE effort. And I love the joy in all of those shots. Thanks.
