Babysitting

 

A couple of days ago we had a very special little visitor at our house. E's friend left her almost-five-months-old baby boy with E while she attended a dental appointment. It's been a very long time since anyone in this house has been asked to babysit, but we had so much fun!

E gave him a bath and his bottle and we watched him play with some old baby toys I dug out of storage.

He is such a lovely, contented little boy and he and E adore each other.

We are looking forward to next year when E gets to babysit him on a regular basis when his mum returns to work. Looks like we'll be baby-proofing the house before we know it!
