This is how today began.

I went outside and attempted to get a few things done.

It's really difficult to achieve much when a cat is constantly winding itself around your legs.

Or looking up pleadingly like this.

I did manage to hang the washing outside (first time for ages) and it actually dried.

After a day of chores, I ventured outside again in the late afternoon.

I watched these birds lazily drift around the sky.
They are lit up with the glow of the setting sun in the second photo.

And then the day ended as prettily as it began.
