Here's where I spent most of Mother's Day.
It was a good thing that I was actually expected to lie around and relax today as I didn't have much energy to do anything else!
The children presented me with lovely gifts including DVDs, gift vouchers and a scarf, and I now have a chocolate frog stash to keep me going for a while. Love the gorgeous tin C found to put them in.
I lounged around in bed until C called us for lunch: toasted Turkish Bread sandwiches with basil pesto, semi-dried tomatoes, baby spinach and fetta, served with potato wedges. So delicious.
Followed by Cheesecake Brownies. They tasted as good as they look!

Our very enjoyable evening meal (Chicken Kiev) was prepared by D and Z.
Right now, I'm feeling very full, but very contented.

Lovely, lovely day. Everyone needs to be pampered and indulged from time to time.
