I Happen To Like New York

New York, Saturday the 24th of September, 2011

C and I began our day with a stroll down Broadway to look at the Lincoln Centre.

Then, on the Subway to Times Square for some shopping - in particular, chocolate shopping at the Hersheys store.

We wanted to see another Broadway show, so after much discussion, with so many to choose from, we went to see "The Addams Family". Very entertaining.

Afterwards, we returned to Times Square so I could soak in the atmosphere one last time. It was insanely crowded but as fabulous as always.
Surprisingly few photos for this day!
When we returned to the apartment, we started to pack up all our belongings as were checking out the next morning and spending our last night in New York at a very special location.

This was our apartment on West 79th Street.

The entrance to our building was the door to the right of the Italian restaurant.

The view from the bedroom window reminded me of the movie "Rear Window"

The place had a few quirks but it was clean and comfortable and in an excellent location. It had served us well but we were looking forward to moving on to our next accommodation.

Wow. That looked incredible. I couldn't have coped with the crowds in Times Square though.
