Venezia

The day was cold, drizzly and foggy, but we were in Venice and soon forgot the unfortunate weather conditions.
What a place! We cruised along the Grand Canal by boat, then changed our mode of transportation to Gondola and drifted peacefully through many of the tiny canals.
Later we explored this rabbit warren of a place and amazingly didn't get lost (Well, actually we did, but only for a couple of minutes until we retraced our steps)
I'm only posting a couple of photos so as not to spoil it for librarygirl who will be here in a couple of weeks.
