Bella Roma

Non-stop sightseeing around incredible Rome and Vatican City. Our biggest disappointment has been that we were unable to enter the Sistine Chapel due to the Papal Conclave. Our tour director had advised us of this last week so we knew in advance, but it's not easy being in Rome and being so near and yet so far.
However, we did see Michelangelo's Pieta in St Peter's Basilica and his Spanish Steps and that's certainly nothing to sneeze at.
So many unforgettable sights today. It really was rather overwhelming to be standing in the Colosseum, listening to a choir sing in The Pantheon and throwing coins into the Trevi Fountain.
I took more photos today than any other day on this trip but I'll use restraint here.
