Baker Street, London

After a long, long exhausting journey, C and I arrived in London yesterday afternoon. After settling in at our apartment in Marylebone ( pronounced "Marleebone" according to our London cabbie), we ventured out for a head-clearing walk along Baker Street and Oxford Street. Weather sunny and cold (4 degrees maximum) and such a relief after Melbourne's recent heat and humidity. Our tiredness melted away as we walked and our excitement grew. So much to see!
We bought soup, crusty bread and fresh fruit for our evening meal and were both asleep by 8.30.
Looking forward to a new day of adventures
Photos were all taken late yesterday afternoon.
