To be honest, I've never had much interest in going to Bali myself. It is of course a very popular holiday destination for Australians but I'm sure many people go there and don't see much more than the beaches and the inside of bars.
E and her friends have certainly been to the odd bar or two during their stay, but they have also explored widely, immersed themselves in the local culture, have not hesitated in trying new things and have had many amazing experiences. I have the greatest admiration for their adventurous spirits.
Thanks to Facebook and Instagram, I've been able to see some incredible photos of E's time in Bali.
These beautiful images have changed my attitude about this place.
