On Broadway

New York, Tuesday the 20th of September, 2011

Took the subway Downtown and headed for "30 Rock" where we went on a tour of the NBC studios and spent megabucks in the NBC store!

Found "Magnolia Bakery" and "The Original Soup Man" (the latter made famous in "Seinfeld") and enjoyed delicious treats from both.

Wandered a bit and took in some more sights.

We were "crazy about Tiffanys". Six floors of tempting ( and completely out of our reach) gorgeous jewellery and homewares.

Well, we did actually indulge ourselves a little. How could you not buy something at Tiffanys on 5th Avenue in New York City if you had a chance? For example, E bought this:
So pretty, not too expensive and something she can treasure for a lifetime.

We took our little blue bags back to the apartment, had a snack, and readied ourselves for an evening in the city. Subway back to Times Square and then off to see our first Broadway Show!

Very, very funny show. So entertaining and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) was just wonderful.
After the show , we went back to Times Square to soak in the atmosphere for a while. That place is so alive, no matter what time of day or night it is.
