Wandering

For my final sewing project for this year, I'm making a quilt cover for a summer, throw-on-the-grass-and-not -worry-about-it quilt. Having decided to make this in retro 1970's colours, I've been scouring the local op-shops for suitable material. The best source of fabric seems to be old pillow cases and tablecloths and I've managed to colllect quite a few of these over the last few weeks. There are five op shops within walking distance of home, but today I decided to venture to a neighbouring suburb.

Success in only one out of four op shops, but C and I still enjoyed our outing. She made several purchases in this lovely shop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We then had lunch in one of our favourite places. Delicious food and peaceful surroundings.
